Covent Garden – Ivy and Royal Opera House

Just a short post of Doreen’s 91st birthday meal at the Ivy, Covent Garden.

A wonderful meal which was incredible value considering its location.

Being her 91st Birthday we were treated by the Ivy staff to a complimentary glass of champagne each upon arrival, and chose the 1917 menu which was incredible value and quality.

We then wandered to the opposite corner of Covent Garden to the Opera House for coffee.

I’d recommend the cafe at the Royal Opera House as it has a great view over the gardens and feels a little special – its on the 5th floor.
